Hi all.

At the moment I am just looking to figure out a new soap regime in my own home as we have sensitive skin. However I do want to do the full soap process myself when I have the equipment.

I am diluting castile soap to make a foaming soap and am thinking about EO and hydrosols for actual skin benefit rather than fragrance (I even use neem sometimes ). I know that some are broken down by soap.

What oils/hydrosols is there no point adding as the soap will break them down?

What preservative is considered safe/gentle (less fussed with natural at the moment as it looks like a minefield)?

What else do I need to consider that I haven't thought of?

Thanks!
