how to make soap balls

I'"ve read some soapers use scraps to make balls for future embeds...do you melt it down to form balls or what? Stupid question? :roll:

I don't melt it. I just cut up into small pieces and then start squishing it together. If it's too dry then I add a little water.

You can shred fresh soap and squish and roll it into balls. You can also make a softer soap, cut into squares, and beat/smash into balls. I love soap balls. I really need to make more.
