Today was my first day of soap making. It was terrible! I attempted my first M&P batch. I figured it would be a easier to start with out lye. I don't know what I did wrong. :( It started to set when I was still heating and mixing everything together. Hopefully the second try will be better. Cant wait to read everyone's advice and tips!!

There will be somebody here who can help you, I'm sorry it won't be me. Melt and pour drives me crazy. I have some glow in the dark powder from Nurture to make Halloween soap with our little girl and I asked her if we should do cold process or melt and pour. Her reaction was to hide the melt and pour blocks because, and I quote, "you know melt and pour is dangerous for you."
