I made soap yesterday and I hope it is salvagable? Maybe someone can help me.
The recipe I used was
39oz OO
24oz CO
18oz PO

I used 30oz of slushey frozen goats milk to disolve my 11 oz of lye

After mixing the lye and the fats then I added 5oz Castor Oil and 3 3/4 oz fragrance.
I put it in a lined wood mold then it started to look like jelly so I panicked and put it in the freezer for about a half hour then put it in the fridge for a bout 2 hours.
I took it out of the mold this morning but when I touch it it just leaves a oily residue on my fingers. Did I superfat too much? Can I rebatch it?
Any help would greatly be appreciated!!
Thanks

it sounds like you were getting gel (the jelly part) and then you put it in the freezer. gel is ok, unless you were trying to prevent it.
if it were my soap, i'd let it set out for a few days and see if the oil reabsorbs and also zap test to make sure it isnt zappy. :)
