I'm sorry for your loss. Reading your tribute was lovely. I wouldn't wish the pain of losing a pet- a dear friend and family member- to anybody, but if there was happiness there will be sadness once they're gone. Trevor was an absolute sweetheart of a dog who enjoyed absolute sweethearts of a family, as did your elder cat.
