Food Colouring in Bath bombs?

Just wondering if food colouring is safe to use in bath bombs, a couple of drops maybe?

Will it stain the tub?

If it's for personal use you could give it a try, It may stain the tub or the person in the tub. I'd be extremely careful. I've not used them to speak first hand.
