I just had great success with the RTCP instructions Paul provided elsewhere on this site and decided I want to now give HP a shot.

I REALLY liked the idea of mixing up the 50/50 lye solution ahead of time and then adding the remaining liquid to each batch.
Any reason I can't do this with HP as well?

I was thinking I would dissolve some honey into the additional water and add it after I reach trace to hopefully avoid burning it. Is this ok or do I need to add all the water before trace?

I use the 50/50 lye solution in my HP all the time. I have a cleaned out detergent jug (the kind with the spigot) that I use to store it in. I have it labeled clearly & put WAY out of reach of the kiddos. So far out of reach that I have to use a stool to get to it!

It's just convenient that way... I haven't noticed any change in my soap either.

Where were those instructions posted? I might like to give this a try for convenience sake
Thanks
