How do different store bought (rice, corn, potato or other) starches compare re soap bar properties like creaminess, silkiness, lather inhibition and durability of bars? ... (ie without additional rice water, milk, puree or other 'sugars').
If I am not adding any other 'sugar' additive (milks, juices, purees, etc), what is a good quantity of the particular starch to start please?
Old posts and DIY recipes give me the impression that corn might have a drying effect (likely delightful for oily skin) while potato and rice are creamier, with the rice being the creamiest. So happy for stories, your skin type, thoughts, etc
