Dried lime zest?

Is there any reason as to why it couldn't/shouldn't be added to CP soap please?
I had a surplus after making a key-lime pie and,after drying it out, thought why not add it to my lime-coconut soap?

I don't see why not.... I've used dried orange zest and it worked fine (mostly dissolved during curing), although I'm not sure if it actually contributed anything to the soap.

Yes you can, but don't use too much or it will end up scratchy.
