Hi all,

I cant remember if chamomile goes brown in cp soap? Does anyone know? I'd like to mix it into the soap batter but not if it goes mouse turd brown like lavender.

Thanks

If I remember correctly, the only plant additives whose color seems to remain true in CP is calendula petals. Pretty much everything else will go brown. Hopefully more people will chime in with their experiences.

IrishLass :)

Chamomile yes, brown. Irish Lass is right about calendula, that stays beautiful yellow. There's also a blue flower that I never remember the name of, that stays blue. I think those are the only two that don't turn brown. :-(
