Difference between rice flower and rice powder

Is there a difference between rice flower and rice powder? I have a recipe using rice powder. Is the difference the grinding of the powder? Judy

I think you mean 'flour' ...not flower? LOL ...I believe, yes, the difference is in the grinding ...the powder I think is very soft whereas the flour may have a bit of courseness ( grit ) to it ...I think! HTH!

That's it exactly. Rice powder is very, very soft like tapioca pure or cornstarch in consistency.
