I make a vegan Palm-free soap that is

67% olive oil
20% coconut oil
8% cocoa butter
5% castor oil

I find it long lasting and very lather-y I really don't miss the palm in it at all.

With that high of OO, what's an appropriate cure time for that recipe? Does it need more than two months? I'd like to try this one and time it out for a Halloween soap.

I find that 6 weeks is just fine. I do gel this recipe and that might make a difference. To me it really feels so similar to my palm recipe soap. Try it out and let me know what you think!

I've gone as high as 80% olive, 15% coconut, 5% castor. It takes a while to cure, but when it does it's a wonderful, conditioning soap.

It's completely usable at 1 month, just don't expect much lather. It's good at 3 months. It's incredible at 8 months.
