OK I used a soap calc this time but didn't have freezer paper to line mold I had already started assuming I had some. I wanted to try to create my own recipie so I could get the hang of the soap calc. I also used lab color, oatmeal, FO, and EO. I didn't get to overzealous I just wanted to experiment a bit.
Recipe I used in oz
4.3 lye
10.2 water
9.9 lard
5.8 coconut oil
16 olive oil
.3 bees wax
2tbs finely ground oats
.5 lavender EO
.5 honey almond FO
Undiluted purple lab color(the part I'm worried about)
I noticed it set up a bit faster than my batch yesterday. Hopefully it will turn out good. It smells wonderful. One thing that helped is I measured and set all my items going into it in order. I was able to still focus on the base of the soap without worrying about trying to prepare the additives. You guys inspire me. Thank you so much.
