CP embeded in MP

Hi before I go wasting my very expensive MP base
is it ok to add CP soap cut outs , like shaved and grated peices to my MP base, or do I have to colour my MP and then add?

Yes, I have. The only thing I found is not to use old CP because it sucks water out of the MP and over time sort of sinks in. But I had great fun with it, and it worked well
