Hi
I have decided I am going to transition into using natural colours in my soap. So am doing alot of research!! Has any tried Coreopsis flowers in infusion? Am interested in what can survive the ph levels. Of course the clays, indigo and others. Any help/advice appreciated.

Lots of things will color cold process soap. I can only speak about plants from my own experience. Paprika will give you orange. If you use the sweet paprika from the store you can infuse it in oil and use that as a percentage in your soap. There is a lot involved with how you use the plants and how much of each one but they are the most fun ever and just when you think you have nailed it, they will trick you again! Hahaha I highly encourage every soaper to try plants for color!
