I have a newbie question. I want to use coffee grounds to add to my soap that I want to make. I am wondering, should I wait for them to dry out before putting them in? Or is it ok to put them in while they are wet? Thanks!

I use them after they have been brewed and still damp. Others may do it differently.
Ok, so I guess it really doesn't matter. I didn't know if the extra water in the grounds would affect the saponifaction process at all.

I use freshly ground coffee beans in my soap.

Hmm...We don't usually have coffee beans, we use the Keurig K-cups, so I figured I'd just use the coffee grounds from those, especially since this will be my first batch of soap.

Thank you to both of you for your quick responses. :)

That's what I wanted to do. I just wasn't sure if they had to be dry, but I guess it's not enough liquid to make a difference. Thank you!
