Citric Acid in lye water (did I mess it up)?

Who knows about adding citric acid to lye water?? I have formulated everything properly BUT I freaking forgot to add the citric to the distilled water before I added the lye so I added it after the lye was dissolved.
***Well….I highly suggest NOT doing that as all kind is sizzling and scary things happen.***
What I actually want to know is if I ruined my lye water by doing this? Does anyone know??

No, you didn't ruin it. It's fine. But you found the reason why you shouldn't do an acid-base neutralization reaction the way you did.

My advice: Citric acid, Citrus juice | Soapy Stuff and scroll down to "How should I add citric acid to my soap?"
