Candle question

Hello candle folk. Wondering if I could ask a quick question.... I make CP soap, and when I shop for fragrances I'm always seeing reviews talking about whether a scent "throws" well or not in candles. I'm just curious what that means... can someone explain please? Thanks.

the "throw" is how strong the scent given off is.

cold throw means how much scent comes off the candle when it's not burning, hot throw is about how much scent the burning candle gives off.
