Hopping around on crutches in a 1/2 renovated room with tools, ladders and all my soap junk, trying not to break my neck and I've been able to dig out just enough supplies to make a batch of Mayren's sugar scrubs using CP soap.

The last batch I made were such a success I wanted to make more, but last time I wasn't thinking and just made the batch without knowing if I had more mix than molds. I got lucky with that batch and had just a few cavities empty.

This time it's crossed my mind to wonder if I can figure out how to make enough mix for the molds.

Mayren's recipe is based on weight .. (you weigh your soap shreds and then based off that weight you add melted oil and sugar).

I understand the math in this thread

using water to calculate oils for an odd mold, but sugar scrubs have sugar.

So I'm thinking I would do the math to calculate total oils (weight of my soap shreds and oil) but then do the math for a salt bar to account for the sugar and reduce the oil by that amount. Is that right?
