I am new to soap making and I don't know much about essential oils. Ive heard about the different notes and such.. where can I learn about the basics of blending eos and fos?

Hi David,

I would really recommend that you pick up a couple of aromatherapy books so you can better understand what essential oils really are. If you are looking at just wanting scent then I would recommend that you take a closer look at Fragrance Oils which are already premixed to give you the scent you want, plus they are way less expensive than an essential oil.

Some good books are anything by Valerie Ann Worwood and 500 Formulas For Aromatherapy: Mixing Essential Oils for Every Use (http://www.amazon.ca/500-Formulas-Aroma ... 706&sr=8-7)

If you are new to soap making, why not try some fragrance oils first. Essential oils can be very expensive.
