I recently made my first two batches of soap, both of which seem to have turned out pretty well. Next, I plan to make some salt bars. I want to try infusing some olive oil or grapeseed oil with herbs from my garden to add fragrance to the salt bars. If I follow a recipe that uses only coconut oil and then add an ounce or two of the fragrance oil that I make when the soap reaches trace, will that mess up the recipe or will it be ok? And if it will mess up the recipe, is there another way I should use the herbs to scent the soap?
Thanks!

you can feel free to add your infused oil to your recipe, but none of the fragrance will come through. the lye eats that up. you need something concentrated for fragrance (like essential oils or fragrance oils).
