Thank you everyone, i tried to mix it more and it worked!

I put it back into the crockpot, then mixed like crazy. It started to come back together which was awesome so i kept at it until it looked like gel phase again. Once gloppy i glopped it into my mold an boom! Now i wait til tomorrow to see if it stayed. [emoji173]️

Ok im not sure wth i did now. I made a new batch, different recipe, and after gel phase, im separating again! Ughh

I actually doubled the recipe but i think youre on to something. I’ll try again and see what happens. :)

So...what is this im left with and is it good for anything

I made a soap last night using hot process and i noticed right away that it took a bit longer to trace, and actually didnt seem to really trace. The oils separated and heres what i ended up with once i poured out the extra oil on top ??

Ok ill do that now. Is that why it wont gel?

Ive used it and its a great bar of soap! Hot and cold process. You just have to be sure you wait for your lye water to cool because it’ll curdle if you dont and then it just looks darker and smells weird.

Im making a batch of hot process using several ingredients: and i left out the 1.6 ounces of almond oil. The soap traced very quickly and i thought it was strange. I realized my mistake after it had traced and been in the slow cooker about 10 min. At first i thought maybe i didnt put enough...
