I,m thinking about ordering some FO,s fron Scent Works. I,m looking at Apple Blossom, Bamboo Flower, Pomegranate, and Andalusian Olive Blossom. They seem higher on their prices than some of the other places. Are they that much better? I would like some opinions please.

Well, I just made a batch of soap and it seized on me. I used a floral from Scent Works ( May Lily). I guess I had the temp a little high( 90). i,m afraid it,s going to look awful. It looked like clabbered milk when I poured it in the mold. But it smells wonderful.

I just checked a couple containers of lye and they are hard as a rock. They are 2 pound plastic bottles. How in the world am I going to bust these up without having a disaster?

Has anyone heard any news on Tradewinds? Their web site is still up. I ordered some Select Shades soap dye from them back in Dec. and have,nt heard a word from them since. I think I read in a recent post where someone had ordered from them and received it 5 days later.

I just made a batch scented with Black Raspberry. I used blue soap dye for part of batch.( Making a swirll). Well, it,s a real puky teal color! I even used titanium dioxide to whitten before I added the dye. Has anyone had trouble with these dyes?
