oh,oh I have never done that......I've just made my basic recipe, not reducing any oil amts. & added my e.o. just before trace or even during trace, with no soap failures yet. (I don't sell tho).

sygrid, what is your lye discount & superfat for tallow. I have tallow but never thought to make 100% tallow soap.

Wayne, your method of lining a log mold seems so quick & easy, however I am a bit concerned about the four corners, how do you keep the soap from running thro. Does the fun foam overlap a bit over the freezer paper on the sides thus covering the corners (if you know what I mean.....)thanks for...

if I may ask, (sorry if hijacking) but how did you girls get those nos. for the superfat value...thought you had to put your no. in yourself (like 5%,etc.)I'm not getting that, thanks. Is it left blank on soacalc. when entering the recipe. How do you determine if its lye heavy.
