Adding lye to rebatch? Another learning experience.

Adding lye to rebatch? Another learning experience. Update Crisis Adverted First let me say thank you in advance for reading this and offering any advice. I continue to appreciate everyone's knowledge. Used a recipe I've used a couple of times before, and right now has become my favorite...

    Red Palm Oil

@ Obsidian, I think the yellow and the Lemon Grass scent is an awesome idea, those are great looking bars of soap! I'd read about discoloration using certain EO/FOs, unfortunately I'm a learn by doing type of person. I like the one with the vanilla coloring in it better than the other. @...

My first CP soap, my first soap

Almost as proud of the molds as the soap seven, thanks for the comment on the mold. I made them myself! Bought three pieces of wood borrowed the neighbors saw and the husbands drill and... wha lah...3 wooden soap molds. OliveOil2, I actually used an attachment bit for my husbands drill...

After doing lots of research on the best soaps and cleaners out there to buy, I decided, I'm going to make this myself. Last Friday, I got bought wood to...

Hello folks, from Eastern USA. I just made my first CP batch, my first soap ever. So excited. Now to try a lard based soap, and a Castile, and a shaving soap, and some shampoo, and some lotion, and...
