Hi Everyone I was lucky enough to be given a heap of fresh goats milk so I am in the process of experimenting with different recipes etc. I read that the fat in the milk can contribute to the superfat...is this correct? I have been using a 7% superfat in all my batches, is this ok or do I need...

Thanks for that Obsidian...I did dissolve the honey in a bit of water before adding, I just cut it and so far looks ok, it's still a little soft so will do what you said and look at it another week, it didn't zap so pleased about that.:p

Hello I'm just new to soap making but I think it may be because your milk is in one big piece and not in cubes, I just made goats milk soap yesterday (only my 2nd batch) and I froze my milk in ice cube trays first, I think if you try the frozen cubes the temp will be a lot better and you...
