The assumption that handmade soap isn't as "good".

I agree. When I was little I got sick super easy, luckily I had a really good doctor who said that outside of being kept warm and drinking a lot, I should not be given meds unless it was super serious, to just let my immune system fight it off, I would be healthier in the long run. He was very...

    rtcp lye temp

What reply do you want? I just use my lye when I can press my hand to the container and not feel any noticeable difference.

    sour goat milk

I think sour milk is fine, but rotten milk probably is not. Soapmaker Man makes sour goats milk bars, so I don't think its a problem. I've used sourcream in a batch and so far it's fine, though it's still curing so I still need to wait and see.

    Selling uncured soap

Funny, mail order bakeries do, its called par-cooked and is so the product won't be overcooked when the customer reheats it at home. Plenty of partial and uncompleted items are offered for sell at grocery and craft stores, as long as everything is clearly marked I really don't see any...

Question on Soap Recipes and Babies

Me, personally, I wouldn't use any perfumed soap on a baby. But, primarily, this is because I am sensitive to chemicals in soap, when I was a baby, my parents used baby soap and a I broke out in a red, pealing, bleeding rash from head to toe, so I was bathed in vinegar water. So I am not...

    Insurance & Labeling

Being told the truth and sent to places with all the legal information you really should know is having attitude? You have been more hostile than anyone else who has posted on your topics. If you did not want honesty, maybe you shouldn't have asked.
