I'd like to do a soap with grits in it. How much grits should I add ppo? Would you grind them up first or leave them big? I want it to be exfoilating and I think it would be cool to see some of the grits, I just don't want it to hurt:p

How would you know if it's lye heavy ? If you follow soap calc, it's good, right?

If you hot process soap and it's still zapping, does it matter if you cure for 4 weeks?

What is considered a high percentage of olive oil in terms of how long it will take to cure? 50% and above? Also, does rice bran oil have the same long cure time as well as create a hard bar? I'm experimenting with recipes and don't use palm oil.

I've been reading some tips online to help anchor my eo scents. I read some freeze their soaps to help it last...have you done that? Does it work? Do you freeze them after they have been cut or before? How long?

What I don't understand about this is I switch over to weight and calculate, then take out the butter the amount won't be 100% anymore and won't calculate. Can you please explain?
