Yes it's me again! When making wine soap I know you HAVE to boil down wine, but do you use it in the reduction state or do you have add water to the original amount you started with???
 
That sounds like a very good question--thanks for asking it. I can't answer your question but I'm interested in the answers.

I love beer soap but what are the benefits or reasons for making wine soap?
 
You do not 'have' to add water to the reduced/boiled wine. When I make my red wine soap for a local vineyard/winery, I substitue part of my water amount with the reduced/boiled wine. I do this mainly because if I use all wine, I do not like the color of the soap. My color of my white wine soap turns out just fine when using all wine in the soap, but the red makes it a strange color for my taste, and my clients!
