For temping your soap, A thermometer or Infrared thermometer ? The infrared only checks the outside temp of the soap and not the inside. Just wondering which do you use? Thank you.
 
I use an infrared thermometer. Stir really well then take temp. I’ve found it’s pretty accurate after a good stir when comparing to a stick thermometer. But I’ve also started to soap at room temperature so i don’t measure as much anymore... I use my thermo more now to check the temp of my soap after pouring just to see if it’s going to fully gel.
