Soap won’t gel

Nice to meet you also. There are quite a few soapers up in these hills.

I finally gave up on my 2lbs of reworked soap and tossed the messy stuff. Both batches separated and never completely gelled. I reworked the recipe and processed again with higher level of KOH. Still no gel and there was separation. On a brighter note I was able donate the remaining KOH to a friend who uses it and reordered sodium hydroxide. I am back into my holiday flow of soap making and all is well. Thanks so much for all the advice everyone.
