Soap size vs. size of box

How much bigger than your soap bar should your box be? I'd like the soap pretty snug without having to squeeze them in the box.

For example, say I have a soap with a width of 1.25". Would the ideal box width be 1.30" inch, etc?

The guy at the box company finally got back to me with the answer: He said in general you want to up the measurements by 1/8th inch to give your soap just a bit of room in the box.

I just use cello bags with a label stuck on them. They're not all that great looking but fine for gift giving. :wink:
