Lemon Myrtle EO will it stick in CP?

Will this EO work better in CP than standard lemon EO? Or will it disappear like the other citrus EO's?

I don't know, but lemongrass is a dead ringer for lemon in CP, and is fairly cheap compared to other EO's.

I second Susie's suggestion. I use Lemongrass a lot. It sticks really well. Too good in some cases, so watch your amounts if blending. It can be the last man standing in a CP soap. I had a tropical blend soap I made a couple of months ago. It's now referred to as that lemon soap.

You can also use an anchor EO with lemon, such as litsea cubeba.

I agree with Lemongrass as well as anchoring other Citrus EO's with Litsea Cubea. As stated, Lemongrass is pretty strong and sticks well.

I've heard you only use a little bit on the lemon myrtle, it goes a long way also.

Thanks for the tips on this. My last soap started out lavender, patchouli, and lemon and smelled wonderful but by the end of cure there was no lemon smell left that I could tell. I used cornstarch but it did not Keep the smell completely. I will experiment with the litsea cubea and lemongrass.
