Hi everyone!

I really want to get into soap making and looking through all your favourite recipes and looking at all your pictures has got me hooked!

I prefer to work in grams and ml's if possible but I just can't get my head around the percentages that you use and there is some terminology that's got me confused too :(

I understand abbreviations such as evoo and eo, co etc etc and then there's some I dont get, and some certain words, like trace I don't understand. Is there a topic or a certain website which you can direct me to so I can learn the very basics? Or if someone would be so kind as to explain I would be eternally grateful! I'm a total beginner so need all the help I can get lol

Thanks in advance!!!!

Kitty xx

Well..... I've spent a good 5 hours on the Soap Queen website, I'm addicted lol

I can see where my first batch went wrong, I've ordered more ingredients to use now but as alot of you from here have advised I'm going to concentrate on really easy/basic recipes to start with and build my way up! :)

I'm sure i'll be asking you all more questions soon lol xx
