I am going to make an anti-ageing cream, with a[FONT=&quot]rgan, hempseed, evening primrose, rosehip, carrot seed and apricot kernel oils (and mango butter).

I've been reading conflicting advice about heating these oils, but having dug out certificates of analysis, and MSDS sheets for most of them, all but one appear to have good high flashpoints (carrot seed oil being the exception). That's fine, I can add the carrot seed oil at cool down.

However, my usually very good lotion book says that vitamin E oil should be added at cool down, and not heated. Is there something else that I should know about here apart from flashpoints?

I'm going to add hyaluronic acid, which is expensive, so I really, really don't want to make any mistakes with this!
