French White Clay

Is French White Clay and Kaolin Clay the same thing? If not where can I get French white clay?

I'm going to assume so. I've heard it referred to as China Clay, but never French White Clay.
Don't let the names fool you though, the China & France before the names of clays, doesn't necessarily mean it was mined there.
