This is interesting and I am sure someone has talked about it before...but it's the first I've ever seen it! It's lengthy and I can't understand a lot of it but I will take their word for it and just look at the number rating

I saw an interview with an EWG rep, on a major news network, and it wasn't much more than fear mongering. Although I do have their site saved and I visit it,to read up on things. I weigh their "facts" against other sources.

Many of the so called "natural" sites post propaganda concerning surfactants. I try to check snopes.com and The American Cancer Society websites to check up on some of this info.

I just recently saw that site also. Its a huge compilation. The ones that i have checked are accurate. Here are a couple good links for double checking:

MSDS (material safety data sheets) can also be found by typing in an ingredient name+MSDS in web searches.
