CP soap ingredients.

Hi,

I am new to soap making. I have made a few soaps already. Which have come out pretty good. I want to try add some more ingredients, however i know some types go black because of the lye, for example rose petals turn a horrible brown colour.

Are there any other solid types of ingredients you can use that wont discolour???

Calendula doesn't discolor. If you're going for adding full herbs right into the soap batch, then calendula would be the only one that doesn't discolor.

I love calendula for not discoloring and just looks great in soap.
