can I incoperate M&P with CP?

I often use MP to "ice" a cake of CP. I embed CP into MP, I have seen people do a layer of clear MP on top of CP.

I haven't see youtube vids doing it, but I pour melted MP into CP that's at a medium trace, then swirl with a chopstick. I don't let the soap gel, so the MP doesn't melt again and end up on the bottom.

You don't have to trace two bowls together, you just make up one traced bowl and split it, then colour and swirl.
