Any body made gluhwein soap

Well Christmas is coming,i wonder if any body has made gluhwein soap.

I was thinking about boiling some cheap red wine up,and maybe add some cinnamon to it.
This could be my lye water,do you think this would turn out reddish ?.
And how much cinnamon would you add to a 1000 grams of fat oil ?.

I have! With Swedish white glögg. Not 100% but I poured some in my lye water. It will turn a darker color as the sugar will caramelize.

I use Glühwein in soap, I just boil it down first then add in at the end.

Not the same thing really but I used a Glühwein FO once that accelerated trace like nobody's business. I used my normal amount and it was at least 3 times as strong as it should have been.

Strawberry Wine

Well I just had to try it! Used my old faithful lard recipe but simmered down some wine and a touch of red coloring for good measure! I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I've made 3 batches of in 4 weeks,so I've got to lay of for a week or two.
House full of soap/warming of wife.
I'm thinking about adding a little cinnamon.
