Do you soapers buy soaps ? from soapers ?

Do you guys buy soaps from other soapers ? I have been dying to buy some soaps from etsy ..., probably some of your alls...lol.

But...as a soaper...do you mind if other soapers buy your soap ? I would take it as a compliment ? But....I didnt know how other soapers felt.

I have made candles for about 10 years.....and I still buy other peoples candles, its like eating your own cooking....sometimes you just want to try something from someone elses kitchen.

I do, both online and from our local Saturday Morning Market. It's not even to try to reverse engineer their soaps, I just like trying them out.

I have, but havent lately, cause i have SO much, couldnt justify the money, but that is how this addiction started! buying soap from a person at farmers market.

I love buying other peoples' soap, but I am so backed up with my own that I feel guilty buying more! LOL

Some of those on etzy look so neat too... Have you ever looked at those MadHatter soaps ? I think they are really neatly packaged.

Vic, I dont buy others soap, but I am a shameless soap porner :lol:

I love to look at the soaps on etsy or google handmade soaps and just drool. I have so much of my own soap, I wouldnt know what to do with someone elses :wink:
Although, I have to say, the soaps you have given me are BOTH in my shower and get used frequently. My boyfriend loves the pearberry

I bought other folks soaps before I made my own. I have a list of soapers I like on etsy for the next time I have some extra $$$ in my pocket.

I don't sell soap so can't say about that but I do buy. I've bought lots from Etsy and from local sellers. I just love the way some soaps look that I just can't resist. I think I will always buy soap because I just love what other soap makers come up with.

And it's true that it's like food, I can make some pretty darn good stuff but I still eat out a lot because I like what is offered without me going to all the effort to make it myself.

My husband has the paypal acct so just the other day he forwarded the email to me and asked "More soap huh?" Actually, it was TKB Trading but he'll get the soap one again soon.

I have bought soap because even after I made mine, I had never used handmade soap and I wanted to "compare" if you will. I bought one recently from a lady and it's a dead sea mud soap with peppermint and I LOVE it. I wanted to try one with dead sea mud to see what it was like. I'm going to have to buy some and make a soap with dead sea mud.

I haven't bought anyone else's yet due to low funds and a huge supply of my own, but I would consider it in the future. I see plenty on Etsy that I would like to try out.

I missed out on the last soap swap here.....I hope to get in on the next one.

I just finished my soaps for the swap. Mailing them tomorrow. I am so excited about the swap and nervous. Not sure what people will think of my soaps. I think I will do EVERY swap there is. LOL

Thanks bconrade884, I am glad that you guys are using those. I look at etsy probably at least 1 time every day...usually more.

I would think we have all went soap crazy...LOL. BUT it must be totally normal since everyone here does the same things...haha.
