My 2nd year of soaping and tried a few new things. Still got a long way to go and have to figure out how to use TD correctly 1. Sugar scrubs, eucalyptus soap with calendula, and star anise soap, both hanger swirl 2. Chocolate and whisky faux funnel pour, Muffin trees and Blue Christmas soap...

☺ used the same recipe for both and left it unscented. Still got a nice chocolatey smell from the cocoa butter. Used charcoal in the blank swirl one and chocolate & neroli confetti in the other. Still don't have names for them

Scented with neroli & rhubarb & custard fo. Lovely colours but the pink should darken over time

Hi there. Finally figured out how to log in through the app... Some new soaps I've been working on. This is HIS soap scented with frankincense eo, pineapple, sandalwood & lime, basil & mandarin fo.

Hi, has anyone tried to add calamine powder to soap? Does the colour change or will it stay a nice pink? Had an idea for green tea, kelp and english rose soap (sounds weird but I love to experiment) and want a nice green/pink colour for it :)

Soo.....2nd attempt at a salt bar. Ready up on the best way to use beetroot and charcoal powser, worked out a recipe, kept a close watch on trace, tried a swirl and worked out fine. Then waited too long before unmolding (around 5 hrs) and the soap just crumbled:eh: Gonna aim for third time...

Tried out my first salt bar using 200gr salt with lard, OO, sunflower oil and sweet almond oil @ a total of 550gr with coconut milk thrown in as 50% of the liquid & 10% superfat. I also added 1 tbsn sugar with the lye water for lather. I just made up the numbers on the go and used a lye...

So how cleansing should a soap be? Was going to try a lard, oo and sunflower oil soap but cleansing came out 0. Would this a problem?

Is it ok to use the same colours for MP soap? They're water based not powders

Hi all, I tried to make up my own recipe using 400gr lard 250gr sunfl. oil 100gr sweet almond oil 184gr shea butter 46gr co 20gr jojoba oil 140.59gr lye 140.59gr wine (not boiled / straight from packet) 183.12gr water and ended up with a horror soap full of air pockets, crumbly...
