I like 1 ounce ppo for my FO's. As far as how you combine the 2 in porportion, it's really up to you. You could do 1/2 and 1/2. I'm a fruity soap person so I would likely go 2/3 apple and 1/3 almond. The experimentation is the fun part! :)

Thanks for posting this, it's similar to a recipe that I use in porportions except that I put in 5% of shea and lower the coconut a bit. I'm out of shea and was debating soaping this weekend without it or just finding some other way to occupy my time. I think I'll go ahead and soap this recipe...

thanks, I did register at the BB board and it looks very helpful. I still have about 6 ounces of Yuzu left and want to see what I can try a little different. No lard in mine...olive, coconut, palm kernal, palm, shea, castor.... Hasn't happened with any other scents...

Ian, can you give some tips on oil storage? Mine are in big 5 gallon tubs in the closet but with the hot summer coming I was wondering if I need to go for cooler storage?
