yellow lye water

Ok so I usually use aloe juice in my soaps but I was out so I used inner filet aloe I had. It was cold when the lye was added. I also added a tsp of sugar to my water and this is my first time doing that. My soap recipe yields a pretty white bar of soap which makes me super happy. What Im worried about is will this lye water make my soap yellow too?

I use unprocessed sugar and it makes the lye water yellow, but my soaps end up white. I bet you're fine.

Mine is very yellow, sometimes green tinted and I add 1 TBS ppo sugar to every batch. It doesn't affect the soaps final color for me.

Mine too sometimes has a yellowish color but doesn't carry over when done.

Ditto to what everyone said. Honey will orange-ify your soap if you decide to use it. I think it's actually a nice color if you don't want to color it otherwise.

Yep yep.. sugar in all batches turns it yellow. In my non sugar it stays clear.
