Thank you for all the ideas. I'm so hungry now! I wonder if cornbread powder ever comes really ground to a fine powder instead of like it usually is. It's a neat concept with the buttermilk that I didn't get a chance to soap yet.

You can use a coffee grinder and a sieve to grind your meal as fine as you wish.

Or ... maybe you can make a thinner polenta, add it at thin trace and blend a little more. Haven't tried myself, but don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

I have a coffee grinder I recently used to make some clay a little finer and it worked pretty well.
