A friend asked me to make a batch of Mother's Day soap. Since it's too late to make CP I thought I'd give HP a try. But, what happened to this? It has white splotches. Did I not cook it enough in the crock pot? Something else? It is lavender with calendula petals, and I added a touch of calendula infused olive oil with the EO at the end.

Also, can I fix it by chopping it up and cooking in the crock pot again?

Thanks,
Stacie

Are the spots zappy ? If not I would chop it or shred it and redo it in the crockpot.

hp is sometimes chunky looking, for me at least, what oils did you use?

I used Olive, Coconut, Palm Kernel, Shea Butter & Castor oil. The chunks weren't there when I poured it, that I remember.

Right now I have it all ground up in the crock pot again. The chunks were not zappy. This is a new experience for me, so I'm happy if the second time around is a charm.

We'll see...

Stacie
