Has anyone used fresh St. John's Wort flowers in melt and pour soap? Thoughts much appreciated. Thanks!

Fresh foliage degrades in soap. You will probably end up with moldy flower petals. Why not use a small amount of St. John's wort extract?

Thank you Isg for your reply. I was making Jewelweed infused M&P yesterday where you put 1/4 c. of the plant material in 8 ounces of M&P and then after letting it infuse for 30 minutes on Lo strain it out and was wondering if anyone had tried it with the St. John's Wort fresh flowers. I do have some tincture I made but it's in grain alcohol so not sure it would work well. I'm infusing some oil for salves so might just do CP soap with it later. Thanks again!
