Silica packets

Ok, my understanding is that the M & P soaps tend to sweat. My question is after I have shrink wrapped my M & P soaps, labeled them and put them in decorative boxes, could I use a silica packet to a large box to keep the sweating down or could it ( the silica packet) get them too dry?

If they have been shrink wrapped (so air and water tight), I don't see how the silica packet can extract any water through the shrink wrap?
