I'm very new and have a question that is probably very simple to you folks. I've been saving all of our used pieces of soap once they get very small. I have a half gallon of them. Can I melt them down and repour them? If so how do I go about this? Thanks for any help.

Mike

When I've saved up enough soap sliver I put them in a tupperware container and put enough water in the container to cover the slivers. I let it sit until the soap is mushy then mash it up with a fork. You could also put it into a blender. Once it's all mashed I put it into an oiled mold until it dries.

Or you can shave the old soap bars down and mix them with water until they dissolve to make liquid hand soap.
