Those look like heat tunnels to me. They are caused by overheating, often with added milks, honey, or other ingredients that heat up batter quickly.
 
The picture linked was of a 100% Coconut Oil soap, so the heat was most likely quite high. But I still can't figure out why it would separate like that into an oily cavity.

^ see Carolyn's reply, above. The most likely culprit is an FO, but milks and honey can also cause this. My only heat tunnels happened in a cylindrical mold made out of black ABS pipe (quite an insulator), in a recipe that contained molasses, which heats up worse than honey. Looked like a worm had been eating through my soap!
